Visite en période de canicule et le ventilateur promis n’était pas présent dommage et aucune réponse à mes message concernant ce point. Ça a été assez pénible avec ces températures. En réservant je me suis dit qu’à défaut de Clim j’aurais un ventilateur mais non… avec ce dernier ou de la bonne communication avec les propriétaires ça aurait été du 5 étoiles. La petite cours à l’arrière est très bruyante et ça résonne des voisins écoutent du gros rap jusqu’à 4h du matin et l’un d’entre eux joue à faire discuter ensemble des IA conversationelles toute la nuit prévoyez des bouchons d’oreille si vous devez dormir les fenêtres ouvertes

Location was very good, although the actual view from the flat is just an alley with bicycles and rubbish bins. (From pictures of the property I was expecting it to be facing a wall but didn't know it's ground floor facing alley way). It’s minutes from the metro, one minute from a beautiful lively square, and around a 10-minute walk to the old town. So location wise - perfect. Many shops and restaurants around. The flat was clean, especially the bathroom. The shower entrance is quite a small triangle so it may be awkward for bigger guests, though it wasn’t an issue for me. There was also some effort put into the design, with details like the mouse figurine in the wall and decorative vases. It is true to pictures shown except it is way darker in reality because of the ally facing window.

The keys were placed in the wrong box despite instructions saying the right side, so I wasted time repeatedly entering the code. The listing also misleadingly advertises a “24/7 front desk” - there is none, it’s an Airbnb-style flat. “Hotel de Ville” plus “front desk” makes it sound like a boutique hotel, which it isn’t. When questioned, the host claimed it only meant 24h check-in, despite “front desk” being listed as an amenity. The flat was cold (mid-March) with no extra blanket available until the following evening, so I slept with jacket on top the first night. The radiator was behind floor-length curtains, so I had to tuck the curtains onto the window ledge/use pillow and my clothes to stop them falling back over the radiator, otherwise there would be barely any heat. The flat itself is dark due to the ground-floor alley-facing window.The photos don’t show that it faces bike stands, bins and passing people who live in the building, with very little privacy as people can easily look directly inside. I had to keep the curtains shut constantly, so waking up in darkness wasn’t ideal. A wardrobe would have been nice as there were only oversized wall hooks by the door. One evening the internet stopped working. Because the TV depended on WiFi too, I had no internet and no TV. I had to go outside to use my mobile network to contact the host. I was then told the router was inside another guest’s flat and asked to knock on their door late at night to restart it.They weren’t in, so there was no solution until the next day. I found it unacceptable that guests are expected to disturb strangers because the router is kept in another apartment. SOLO TRAVELERS - DO NOT LOCK YOURSELF IN THE BATHROOM. I locked it out of habit and the lock got stuck for around 15 seconds before finally opening. Luckily I managed to get out but it genuinely panicked me because I might have ended up spending the rest of my trip locked in the bathroom.
