The property was lovely, we had 9 of us stay in the end - with one on the fold out couch. It was cosy but certainly was comfortable for a group of our size. We stayed over Christmas with a group of kiwis away from their families for the holidays, so the thoughtful touches such as a Christmas tree and a bottle of bubbles were greatly appreciated. All the amenities were great, plenty of kitchen space, fun games room and the garden with hot tub was an added bonus.
We did receive a text that the noise levels were too loud the first night we arrived, though we did get the impression that perhaps it was just due to the size of our group - as we weren't creating much noise, really just chatting and playing some quiet background music. I totally understand needing to be considerate of the neighbours, though perhaps the level of noise that triggers it may be too low for a large group.

Really lovely property, extremely homely. Perfect location and quiet area. Hot tub is an Absolute bonus as well as the games room. We had 7 people and a dog and it accommodated all of us perfectly. Hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming and also very responsive.
The only thing that was a little bit annoying was that there was a noise sensor and it is slightly strict. The dog was barking when we went to go bowling and we had a notification that there was too much noise. Someone did unfortunately have to go back home to watch the dog so it was slightly inconvenient.
