The Ryde Hideaway

The bedrooms were fresh, clean and bright. The management service who made a refund of £40 because of the very poor, almost non existent internet that was advertised.

The side lane the entrance was in was hard to find even with the instructions given. The lane was dirty with rubbish strewn across it making it a vermin risk. The entrance hall was unfinished and looked unwelcoming. The furniture in the sitting room was not comfortable and only suitable for 2 people and would make long stay impossible for 4 people. The fridge freezer was not in line with decor and rattled all the time. The TV was too small for the size of space meaning we had to pull the furniture across the room to watch….when it worked. There was no terrestrial TV service and the only way was to use streaming apps but the internet service was bad as it was a Three mobile service with poor signal so never got a chance to watch much as was our plan for 1st night. The water pressure was so low, showering was hard making the rain head shower almost useless and we used the hand held attachment.
