Paddington Central Apartments

Very central location, easy to access. Comfy bed, clean facilities, kitchen great as well

WiFi didn’t work therefore the TV didn’t work great either

The location is really ideal. The properly was clean, and easy to get in. The area was pretty quiet while I was there. I had issues with a lack of hot water in the accommodation, a few times, however Anna was very reactive to address it.

The property is some very simple. One thing to know is that shampoo, soap is not provided.

Location was great

I was looking for 3 things from my stay: a bed, a hot shower and a private, quiet place for my baby to nap during the day. I got 1 out of 3. When we arrived there was a boiler repair man in the property, and he was back and forth throughout our 2 night stay, and the issue was not fixed during our stay. This meant we weren't able to shower or successfully put the baby down for 48 hours which was very stressful. I was in touch with the nominated maintenance man, who said we would get in touch with the property owner to discuss compensation. I messaged the property owner a couple of days later to chase this up and received no response (despite her having been fairly quick to respond to messages during the stay itself!) Followed up via WhatsApp as she had given us her number. No response. Followed up with booking.com, and it sounds like they also got ghosted - but they at least gave me 10% back in booking.com credit. I would've happily taken a 20% refund or something just as a token gesture, I'm not someone who normally complains, but not having hot water or a private space for the whole stay was ridiculous. It's probably a perfectly nice stay if the boiler is working!
