Received clear intructions how everything is working (getting to the apartment, how to get the keys, some handy information about neighborhood). All was easily accessible. Apartment is perfectly located, within walking distance everywhere (the historical center, the bus station, the train station, the central market, the bus stop for the airport). It is simply, but well furnished, it has all the basics you might need for your comfy stay. Above all, Riga is a beautiful city that is definitely worth a visit.
Our room faced a busy street. Fortunately, we live in the city, so we're used to a certain amount of “noise” and sleep well, but if someone is a light sleeper, this could be a problem. Also, the locker for luggage wasn't working.

Recht schönes Appartement mit einem Hochbett. Das Bett unten und die Schlaffläche oben 140 cm breit. Für Kinder bestimmt ein Abenteuer. Allerdings kann das Hochbett nur über eine Leiter erreicht werden. Zentrale Lage zur Altstadt aber viel Kopfsteinpflaster; Bahnhof und Busbahnhof zu Fuss in 5-10 Minuten erreichbar (je nach Fitnesszustand). Öffentlicher Nahverkehr sehr gut ausgebaut. Mit einer Mehrtageskarte über die App gut zu nutzen.
Wir hatten keine Probleme damit, aber wer Lärmempfindlich ist muss bei der Zimmerlage zur Hauptstrasse hin mit Verkehrslärm rechnen (Straßenbahn und Busverkehr). Abhilfe mit Ohrstöpsel ist die Lösung.

Dejlig tæt på sporvogne og busser. Tæt på det centrale marked.
Let at gå rundt til alt inde i den gamle bydel.
Gode lydisolerende vinduer. Man hører nærmest ikke tog, sporvogne og busser.
Gardinerne dækker ikke ordentligt. De 2 af dem er simpelthen ikke store nok.

I just left the apartment, I had an absolutely amazing time there.The apartment was very comfortable, cosy, bright, modern, warm in the cold weather. The location is perfect, everything is reachable in 5 min. There is traffic outside the window, but the windows are very well made and I didn't hear a thing. In the kitchen is everything you need ,clean and well equipped. Bed comfy and duvet, pillows soft and fluffy. The communication with staff was fast and effective. I definitely will be back with my family. Thank you so much 🤗
