Foremost, Luis, the host, was most generous with his time, help with the luggage, and willingness to share information on everything from restaurants in the area to parking throughout the city. The apartment was spacious, comfortable, nicely appointed and clean. It had all of the amenities one might want: a kitchenette with all of the essentials, a comfortable bed, and dining and living room areas. The apartment has heating and cooling. A designated private parking spot is located just around the corner. The location is wonderful: very short walks (1/4 mile) to restaurants and a little bit further to the renowned Bolhoa shopping district and Bolhoa Market. I highly recommend this lodging and will stay again when visiting the area. Note: it is very east to communicate with Luis with WhatsApp before and during your stay.

Ein sehr schönes Apartment, tolle Lage, in 10min zu Fuß in der Altstadt, zum Douro 2min, sehr netter Vermieter. Großes Plus: die Garage für unser Auto.

Lovely little apartment. Spotlessly clean and comfortable with everything you need and Luis is an excellent host - great communication and super helpful. Parking was great!

Would’ve given a 10, except for some traffic noise, but for this central proximity that’s unavoidable and the apartment is a bargain.
