Belas Artes Apartments

Excellent communication from host, and great introduction to the apt by Paulo when we arrived, letting us know everything we needed. Paulo was always quick to answer any follow up questions we had for him. The location was perfect, walking distance from all the main sites, and lots of good places to eat and drink nearby. Very easy access and space for a group of friends. The apt was quiet and very clean, with all the appliances we needed. I will definitely stay here again.

The accommodation was very worth the money. It was spacious with gorgeous huge windows and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We especially enjoyed the huge TV and washing/drying machine which was really useful. The sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable. The host met us at the door even though we arrived quite late around 12am. He explained everything very well and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the stay. We had a minor problem and the host offered to come and inspect it immediately even though it was very late, so he's very reliable. The location was just around the corner from the Mercado do Bolhao and really convenient.

The location is pretty central but you should be aware that the path from the metro to the apartment is uphill and can be quite busy even at night. Be careful if you are rolling luggage bags uphill and consider taking a car directly if you have many bags.

Paulo our host was a very good communicator and used what’s app near the time of travel and to meet on the day which made it very easy. The apartment was very spacious and had air conditioning and a heater function so we could adjust to the changing weather. The kitchen facilities and the fridge and freezer were just what we needed. They had thought of everything and were really kind. I booked in advance and got a very good value rate.

Great host who made contact in advance of my stay to agree the check in process. The apartment is very clean with all the facilities you could wish for. The location is excellent with plenty of cafes and bars nearby. Porto is a lovely city and would highly recommend. This trip was a football away day with the lads but I would take the wife to this apartment!
