Solemar Sicilia - Palazzo Tiglio

The terrace is amazing, I loved looking at the sea endlessly despite the heat it’s the real seller of this accommodation. It’s a small one bedroom apartment but it was good enough for two people. Also, thanks to the terrace you don’t hear much street noise inside. It’s close to the train station and it was easy to find.

There was a problem with the keys from previous guests and the owners contacted us to say it wouldn’t be available anymore. It was resolved in the end but it was quite stressful. Also, it was clear the cleaning was done very quickly as we found stuff of the previous guests. Since we didn’t stay long I figured it was okay they did their best. The wifi was weak so I wouldn’t recommend to work there unless you have data. We didn’t use the kitchen so can’t say anything about it.

The private terrace was excellent to use for breakfast or dinner times. Great view of the sea. Location was perfect as it was half way between Caletta sant’elia and the Santa Flavia train station. Many restaurants within 5minute walk and (we did not find out until half way through our stay) there is a FREE tourist shuttle service around Santa Flavia every 20minutes that takes you to all the local beaches (saves you walking 30 minutes in the heat!)

Can be noisy especially during the evenings as it is situated on a fairly busy road but it is quiet enough in the bedroom

Super appartement décoré avec goût, la terrasse incroyable avec vue mer est un vrai plus ! Bon emplacement pour visiter la côte Nord de la Sicile. Instructions claires, bons échanges réactifs avec Claudio. Nous recommandons pour votre séjour !

Bello l’arredo, spazi giusti per due persone, veranda con visuale spettacolare sul golfo

Veranda non pulita a sufficienza per poter essere utilizzata, gli ombrelloni non utilizzabili, uno senza copertura l’altro rotto e non apribile. acqua calda non pervenuta nonostante abbiamo sollecitato l host che non è riuscito a mandare i manutentori Camera piccola (dalle foto non si evince la dimensione) giusto lo spazio per un matrimoniale alla francese senza aria condizionata L’aria condizionata del soggiorno non riusciva a refrigerare anche la camera Distanza dal mare un po’ di più da quella dichiarata
