Villa Agave - SeaFront - Pool Kids - BBQ

Alessandro was super helpful and always available. We arrived very late, actually in the early hours of the morning but communication was smooth and everything had been organised for us in advance. Grazie mille, Ale! :)) The location is an absolute 10/10. Right on the water, in a beautiful bay, with the ocean as your swimming pool. And honestly, if you’re worried about there not being a pool, don’t be — the sea was absolutely incredible. Ale was a great host: informative, friendly and always happy to help whenever we needed anything. The house itself is very spacious, the air conditioning worked well and the bathrooms were decent. We particularly loved the outdoor shower and the large outside table, which was perfect for all 10 of us. It was extremely hot while we were there, but the beautiful sea breeze made such a difference and gave us the perfect escape from the heat. Overall, the location and setting are really something special.

The house is an older property and, in places, it is starting to show its age. I think with a little upkeep and some relatively small improvements, it could become an even more fantastic place to stay. The kitchen could definitely benefit from a little attention, particularly replacing some of the older pots and pans. We ended up buying our own pot and pan from the Conad down the road for €14 - problem solved! 😄 The beds are also quite old and, shall we say, have developed a rather impressive concave shape. I know I was eating my fair share of cannolo siciliano, but it’s always nice to have a good bed to return to at the end of the day! 😂 Some of the outdoor furniture could also do with an update. There is also an occasional unpleasant smell, particularly towards the back of the house. It comes and goes, so I wonder if there could be an issue somewhere with the sewage system or pumps. I’m sure this is something Alessandro is already aware of and working on. My feeling is that Alessandro is gradually working through these things — slowly but surely. And ultimately, when you have that spectacular view, your own access to an incredible stretch of ocean and that beautiful Sicilian setting, most of the little things are very quickly forgotten. For us, the location and the sea were simply unbeatable.

The location is perfect, private beach, closeness to really nice cute villages, it’s magical sunrise from the terrace and back garden. Magical.

Everything was fine.

Very close to water and nice pool for kids so that had fun time all day long. Peaceful and relaxing.

Bit far away when you don’t have car.

Fantastische locatie bij het water. De eigenaar is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De kamers zijn prima en de airco is fijn. Op het terrein was veel ruimte. Als ik nog een keer naar Palermo ga zal ik hier zeker terugkomen.

Delen van het huis zijn aan vernieuwing toe en zijn waarschijnlijk meer dan 20 jaar oud, zoals de keuken en het zwembad. Niet alle bedden staan in kamers, 2 bedden staan in het trappenhuis.
