1 Bedroom Apartment in Ivanhoe

Our daughter was undergoing treatment in the Austin Hospital and we needed a place that was close by. This apartment was directly across the road and was located in a convenient spot close to shops and cafes and restaurants. We liked the fact the owner included crockery and cutlery and whilst we did not prepare meals Siri g our five night stay, if you do wish to cook, there is a wide selection of pots and pans available. Also great that there is a washing machine. The shower pressure is seriously awesome!! Kudos to whomever did the plumbing and to Delain who never inserted a water restrictor into the line as it was a welcome luxury to stand in a shower with such great water flow! The parking was good and the elevators were quick. Delain also responded super quickly to any queries we had. Check in and check out is via a key pick up at a nearby shop which is just down the road.

We found the bed very uncomfortable as was the two seater couch. Other than that everything else was fine and if you are only staying a night or two these won’t become such an issue as they did to us.

Great prompt communications with the owner. Easy to pick up the keys. Onsite parking. Very clean apartment with everything you need. Excellent view from the balcony. Thank you for the accommodation Delain.

Ideally some coffee and milk would have been great but truly there's nothing to dislike.

This is a nice apartment. The host is super responsive and helpful with all of our needs. The key collection and drop off are not ideal if you don't have a car, but Delain was very accommodating and make arrangements for us as we didn't have a car.

It is half an hour walk from Ivanhoe shops. However, easy to Uber and up the hill from Heidelberg station
