La Maison - Siquijor

The room was very nicely appointed. In addition, there were some very nice touches, like large murals painted by a local artist. The bed and mattress were very comfortable. All the fixtures worked very well. The rooms and facilities in general were kept very clean at all times. The staff was very pleasant and responsive. Close the the Marine Sanctuary.

In order to get to the main entrance, there was a very short but rather bumpy road. But that was a very minor inconvenience. Another thing I would have like was a couple more towel holders.

L’emplacement, le personnel, Stéphanie et Yann. La literie. La propreté.

L’accueil, la disponibilité de Yan. Le personnel très serviable. Extrêmement propre.

I had such a lovely stay at La Maison Guesthouse! Yann, Stephanie, and the rest of the staff were absolutely amazing and made me feel so comfortable throughout my stay. As a solo traveler, I really appreciated how accommodating and helpful everyone was. 🥰 The location is also great, especially if you’re into snorkeling or freediving. It’s close to Tubod Sanctuary, which I absolutely loved and visited several times during my stay. Being nearby made it so easy to enjoy the water whenever I wanted. 🤿🌊 My room was cleaned every day, and breakfast was included for free during my stay. The breakfast service was so generous that sometimes I honestly couldn’t even finish it! 😂 It was such a nice way to start the day. They were also incredibly helpful with tuk-tuk contacts, restaurant recommendations, bookings, and anything else I needed. Yann was especially accommodating and communicated with me through WhatsApp, which made everything so much easier as a solo traveler. He always had great recommendations and was happy to help arrange things whenever needed. I also loved the little touches, like the complimentary welcome drinks at the bridge. It was such a lovely experience to enjoy the scenery with a drink, and it made my stay feel even more special. 🍹 Another thing I really appreciated was that the restroom is separated from the bedroom, which made the room feel more spacious and comfortable. Overall, La Maison felt warm, welcoming, and very well taken care of. I’d definitely recommend staying here, especially if you’re traveling solo. The hospitality, generous service, convenient location, and little personal touches really made my stay memorable. ❤️
