    From the owner to the staff, everyone was very friendly. The resort is well maintained and clean. Restaurant staff a well priced and provides a great variety of dishes, all of which were great! Highly recommend

    We stayed for four nights in April 2026. Originally in Jackfruit, which was not good value for $90 a night especially considering location several km from town. Small, dark, and no furniture for clothes storage or any space in bathroom for toiletries, and most problematic was basically no wifi. The staff were excellent, and did upgrade us to a bungalow for latter issue after two days - that would have been good value for price originally paid, but not asking price of *** a night. Pool was nice but not as big as in photos; restaurant was decent food but again way overpriced considering location, so we only ate there once. Not a luxury property as advertised, more like mid range, and you can find better properties for less price on Siquijor.

    Pros -Nice swimming pool -Well-maintained garden Cons -Inattentive and incompetent staff -High price given the low quality of service -Location far from town (need to rent or hire transportation) -Lack of basic necessities in room (i.e. No toothbrush/toothpaste, no slippers, no hairdryer in room) -Front desk often closed or unoccupied (closes at 9pm, no response from contact number afterhours) -Incompetent housekeeping (threw away our own toothpaste, tried to contact front desk, no response) This is the first negative review I've ever written, but I felt the need to. Although the facilities are well-kept and well-maintained, the disorganized and unattentive staff made for a stressful stay and overall bad experience. We asked the staff to arrange transportation to the port, to which they assented and we agreed on the price (750 php, expensive but whatever). One of the staff said that she would call the driver for us. The driver was late, and we asked the staff several times if the driver was coming, to which they said yes. When we were only 15min from the port entry time, we asked the staff again about the driver, to which they thought we had booked our own transportation. WHAT?? I was understandably upset as the staff's negligence nearly caused us to miss our ferry and flight. It's obvious that the staff don't communicate with each other and show little care or concern for their guests. The owner tried to rectify the situation by rushing us to the port (still had to pay the full 750 php) and tried to sweet talk us, but when I told him 'Don't expect a good review,' he replied 'F**k you, you're a real ***hole.' Very unprofessional, showed his true colors in that he didn't care about our experience, just doing damage control. TL,DR: Resort facilities are nice, but lacking basic necessities that are standard at resorts. Staff are disorganized, incompetent, and rude. You're better off booking elsewhere.
