The log burner was a bonus and the cottage was very cosy. There was plenty of room with a large conservatory. The host was excellent and left a surprise basket of goodies (milk, bread, wine, pastries). There was a small enclosed garden at the rear which would have been handy if you had a dog. The WIFI was excellent. Overall it was extremely good value.
The beds and bedding took a while to adapt to but I guess that would be down to personal choice. At first there was an issue regarding parking. There is only parking for one car which did not become clear until we read the information book inside the property. This was a minor issue at first but there is plenty of parking nearby.

All the rooms were a very good size plenty of room to relax in. The conservatory was a bonus. The log fire definitely added to the charm of the sitting room. The kitchen was also another enjoyable environment where you could sit at the kitchen table to eat meals or just sit and chat. It is overall a very inviting and cosy place to stay.
There were a few things that could be improved on but they had no impact on our stay.
