Great host; Jojo was very responsive and quick to take action. I know that I can count on him if we need something or if there are any issues. Their contractor who came to fix some maintenance issues was very efficient, accommodating and friendly. These 2 guys made our stay very nice and comfortable. I can imagine that if the situation is the opposite, it would've affected our stay. The apartment is in a great location, very convenient for Penang standard. There's a Happy Mart that's open 24/7 right downstairs and there's a mall with some shops, restaurants and huge supermarket right across the road. There is no need to drive to get food or groceries, which is quite rare for Penang. I'll be more than happy to stay in the same property the next time I travel to Penang again.

The condition of the apartment should be shown a little bit better on the photos. There are signs of water damage on the skirting boards and at the bottom of doors in both bedrooms and the living room. We accepted it because the other qualities of the apartment made up for it, like the view, design, facilities and location. Apparently Booking.com doesn't issue invoices; requesting for an invoice involved multiple requests and follow-ups. Although I have a feeling that this was delayed by Jojo's higher-ups and it wasn't Jojo's call, it shouldn't be so difficult for a business to issue an invoice when the customer paid for a product or a service. Maybe next time I'll book with Agoda, which seems to issue invoices (hopefully still does).

The room is very clean and spacious, love it!

Saw few small piece tissue in the swimming pool and saw a group of people not wearing swimming suits in the swimming pool. Sauna room not functioning.
