Pass the Keys Sheeling Cottage

The flow and decoration. The beds were comfy. The living room was beautiful. The light inside from the windows/doors. It felt airy and spacious. The garden is unbelievably large. It is a sight to see. Watching the wildlife was wonderful. It would have been even better had it been red squirrels rather than grey! Lots of different species of birds, they made you feel instantly calm.

The cooker was slightly hard to navigate. We did get in contact with the people who looked after the property, and the problem was resolved, albeit we had to use the oven rather than the fan oven setting. However, I do think more explanations to future customers going forward. I think there needs to be more oven dishes as we could only find the two oven trays and one Pyrex dish. The shower needs a glass opening rather than a shower curtain. The garden, in our opinion, would be better and more private had it have been fenced between the owners' house.

The property was gorgeous. We were sent detailed instructions on how to locate it which proved very useful. it was just a beautiful lodge. There was everything we needed. Both bedrooms were a good size & loads of coat hangers which is often overlooked by the owners. The location is a mile from park and ride for Shrewsbury. Wildlife in the garden & 3 sitting out areas. The chairs were comfortable as were the beds. It is the only self catering house that we have ever stayed in that we plan to revisit.

Nothing - it was wonderful

The cottage was just perfect for our catch up as three friends travelling from different areas. We really appreciated the outside space as we were very fortunate to experience the warm weather. The location was great as none of of us had been to Shrewsbury before. Comfortable beds, shower hot and plenty of parking.
