Excellent property with super helpful owner
Really impressed with everything about this property and our trip. Our host, Marko, was super helpful and responded to all our questions incredibly quickly; it really made the whole trip so much easier. The property is beautiful, very rustic looking and a world apart from bland hotel rooms, which is why we chose it. It really fits in with the surroundings. Great facilities including a huge drier for ski/snowboard boots and gloves which was exactly what we needed. Very comfortable beds and living room which was a perfect size to relax on the evening. Whilst the location isn't right in the village/resort it wasn't too much a an issue once we figured out the short cut to take. If you're hoping to see the northern lights then being a little bit away from the main centre is helpful as there's a lot less light pollution; our photos from just down the street were a lot more intense than the ones we took down by the lake/resort. If we return to Ruka, we'll definitely book the same place again without hesitation.

Onnistunut hiihtoloma Rukankuurassa
Kodikas ja viihtyisä mökki, jossa oli kaikki tarvittava onnistuneeseen viikon lomaan. Sijainti oli erinomainen: lähin hiihtohissi oli Talvijärvi ja Huttulammentieltä pääsi polkua pitkin suoraan Talvijärven hiihtostadionille ja laduille, joten hiihtämään pääsi vaivattomasti suoraan majoituksesta. Sängyt olivat hyvät ja yöunet todella levolliset. Kaiken kaikkiaan erittäin miellyttävä ja toimiva majoitus – tulemme mielellämme uudelleen.
Naulakkotilaa olisi voinut olla hieman enemmän, mutta tämä ei vaikuttanut lomamme viihtyvyyteen. Hyvä huomata, että toinen makuuhuone on käytännössä parvi. Parvella kolmas sänky sijaitsee viiston katon alla melko kompaktissa tilassa, minkä vuoksi se sopii parhaiten lapselle. Kokonaisuus oli kuitenkin toimiva ja mukava - koko perhe viihtyi Rukankuurassa!

Wij vonden het huisje zeer comfortabel, Aan alles is gedacht! Wij hebben het als zeer prettig ervaren! Het is een gezellig huisje met alles er op en der aan. Er is genoeg hout om de hele week mee te stoken. Het centrum van Ruka is met 30 minuten te bewandelen.
