Marchesa - 2 Bedrooms, Terrace & Bath Tub in Center

The photographs of the roof terrace on booking.com were very different to the reality which was very disappointing given the cost of the property and the roof terrace was one of the main reasons we chose the property.

Photos of the accomodation are real - amazingly nice appartement! Two well equipped rooms, amazing terrace and sun terrace. Bathtube and shower perfect, huge TVs with Netflix logged in, sufficiently equipped kitchen for breakfast, coffee pods available. And perfect location - quiet street in the centre and just at the end of the street the living center starts, so only few steps away.

Parking is the problem, but we have counted with it and we had also the instructions where it may be possible to park and we also counted with walking with bags, which is ok. Our reservation was from 4PM as stated on Booking.com reservation, most probably we have indicated expected time of arrival around 6PM. Unfortunately in the app for opening the entrance was disabled until 6PM. We had to wait with bags outside to be changed it after our arrival, luckily only few minutes of waiting until the change. The real issue appeared I believe on the day 3 once we came back from a daily trip. The app and doors opening was not working (and not just for us, also for the second appartment as figured out later on, so issue was on the accomodation side). I have tried to call the accomodation, not possible to be answered. The only way was to use WhatsApp messages. It literally took 1 hour to solve it and get in. I was there with two small and tired kids, insufficiently dressed up for an evening stay on the street. No excuse and no apology from the accomodation received. I had to just wait on the street, try to urgue the solution. Of course I got ill, because I could not just leave the street for example to go to some restaurant until it is solved, because from time to time I have received some other tip how to get in. The general information about accomodation was sufficient, unfortunately not personalised. So before check-out I have received the information "If you have not paid already please remember to *leave the city tax on the table*". As we had few more accomodation during our holiday, I had no clue, thus I had to search the bank account if we paid or not already (we did). The last negative moment was that our booking terms were to check-out until 10 AM, but we have received this information: "Please remember that the standard checkout time is at 10:00, and your checkout time is at 09:30".
