We absolutely loved our stay here. The property was beautiful, charming and spotlessly clean, and the traditional trulli made it feel incredibly special. We particularly loved learning about the history of the property, including how the area where the pool now sits was once used for crushing grapes to make wine, which was then historically stored in the trulli. It gave the whole place such a wonderful sense of character and history. Marco and Carla were excellent hosts and made us feel so welcome, always greeting us with a smile each morning. Breakfast was included and was a real highlight, with freshly baked bread every day, delicious homemade cakes and fresh eggs from their own chickens. The property is in a peaceful, fairly remote location, which we really enjoyed, while still being only around a 15–20 minute drive from Monopoli. Alberobello, Polignano a Mare and Locorotondo are also all within easy reach, making it a great base for exploring the area. Some of our favourite moments were simply spending the mornings reading our books in the beautiful, tranquil surroundings before heading out to explore in the afternoon. There is plenty of comfortable outdoor seating and communal space throughout the property. Even though the other accommodation was fully booked during our stay, it never felt busy or crowded and everyone had plenty of room to relax without feeling on top of one another. A beautiful and peaceful place with wonderful hosts, fascinating history and a genuinely relaxing atmosphere. We would happily stay again.

The only very minor points were that the shower pressure was a little low and the door scraped slightly on the floor when opening, but neither affected our stay or enjoyment of the property.

Trulivo is beautiful. The trullis, rooms, bathrooms and outside area were absolute perfection - comfortable, peaceful, spacious and everything we needed. Marco is fantastic. We based our week around his recommendations, which were excellent. And the farm to table breakfast was delicious every morning. I am coeliac, and I was catered to excellently.

Not the properties fault in any way, just a note for anyone considering booking, definitely hire a car. Ubers exist in the area but it is much easier to have a car as there aren’t many.

A truly wonderful place to stay in Puglia. Trulivo is located in a beautiful and idyllic setting surrounded by olive, hazelnut and fig trees. The property is cozy, charming and personal, with only a few rooms, creating a relaxed and intimate atmosphere. The homemade breakfast served under the olive tree was fantastic, featuring delicious local ingredients from the farm and nearby producers.I booked this stay as a special surprise for my husband's 40th birthday, and Marco and Carla helped make the occasion truly unforgettable. They went above and beyond to make his day extra special, even baking a birthday cake for him to enjoy at breakfast. It was such a thoughtful and personal touch that meant a lot to us.Marco and Carla were amazing hosts, always ready to help with recommendations and bookings, from wine tastings to memorable dinners at beautiful local restaurants. Their warmth, generosity and attention to detail made our stay exceptional.Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic, relaxing and memorable Puglia experience. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
