Jérôme, the host, was incredibly friendly, and I could tell he took a lot of pride in being a host. The bed was cozy and the room was very clean. It was in a nice area that felt very safe and was very close to Paris Orly.
I was hesitant at first because I have never stayed in an independently run hostel before, and was worried about staying in someone’s apartment. I feel like that can either be the safest option for a hostel, or incredibly unsafe. I wasn’t quite sure because there wasn’t a lot of information available online about the hostel and who runs it. Once I booked though, the host contacted me and was helpful and kind, putting my anxieties at ease.
