Comfortable bed but double is a bit small if you’re over 6ft, nice surroundings, quiet location.
There were two converted stables, unfortunately the images were not of the stable we stayed in, which wasn’t finished to the same standard of the other.
Comfortable enough but missed touches and attention to detail that could easily be remedied that reduced the enjoyment of our stay:
- minimal loo roll - more was requested but none was provided
- heating didn’t work, despite following instructions. As a result it was very cold at night and would be impractically cold during the winter
- milk provided, but no tea or coffee
- floor hadn’t been swept, with leaves and dead wasp by the bed
- washable welcome front door mat was very dirty upon arrival
- shampoo provided but no body wash
- blood on sheets and duvet, we don’t think it was from us as no evidence on our PJs, jury is out!
- elastic in fitted sheet was past its best, a struggle keeping the sheet in place
In all, didn’t feel £125 was good value at all.
