Everything you need - fridge, kettle etc. which is a benefit over just staying at the local premier inn :D Just 5 mins walk from Maidstone East train station. No fuss 'checking in' Deffo use again.

Some may find it a bit noisy being so close to the town centre but personally, considering we got back from a party around 11.30 on a Saturday night, I thought it was pretty quiet.

Beautiful building in the heart of Maidstone! Really handy spot and was not expecting the world for the price. Had everything we needed and is set up so you could stay longer term, full kitchen facilities etc. The building is so cool, and it’s really spacious, across two floors. I can see that if it was decorated more in keeping with the history of the building (especially as it’s right next to the museum!) history nerds like myself would pay for a luxury historic stay. Shower worked well and very greatful for the tea / coffee, milk and waters in the fridge. Owners bought a new hair dryer too. Definitely would return when I need a place to stay in the area again!

Amenities were a bit basic / cheap- wobbly tables and chairs, mismatching cutlery, shower curtain etc didn’t make it feel like a luxury stay but it did have everything we needed for one night. If it was priced any higher I would have been disappointed just because of the quality of fittings / items. Feel like it’s reasonable for price.
