Miste wat dingen om het zelf schoon te houden, als je ‘s avonds terug komt van een dagje weg is een parkeerplek vinden lastig (ondanks de parkeervergunning).

Clean Accessible Facilities

It was lovely and cool in the heatwave due to being in the basement. Well thought out layout and comfortable bed (I like it on the hard side). The garden was nicely secluded with lots of birdsong and I liked that it only got full sun for a few hours due to the trees although sun worshippers might not be so keen on that. The ferns outside the back door were a nice touch which stopped it feeling oppressive as some basements can.

The sofa bed was very uncomfortable to sit on and there was no alternative. There is space for a small table and 2 chairs but the only other sitting space was the breakfast bar with two high stools with no backs. Only one bedside table so we used one of the stools the other side. We got back late from a family party on a Saturday night and had to drive around for ages to find a parking space but that was the only time we had to move the car as it is an easy walk into town and the train stations. The stones on the long path to the garden are not easy to walk on. Some stepping stones would be a huge improvement.

The location was good, not too hot in the suite despite the outside weather. Overall quiet, some noise from the family above, but nothing too disruptive. Easy to get to from Maidstone West.

Shower drain was not well maintained. Had to turn off the water mid-shower to let it drain before continuing. Says two beds, but the couch isn't a fold-out bed, it's just that the back goes flat, so you still feel the couch frame when lying on it. There also wasn't any extra bedding, only enough for the main bed.
