Central Maidstone Contractor Flat

Great size apartment, with easy access and a communicative host, plenty of facilities for a period away

The building is a bit run down, but not a reflection on the apartment, initial post code supplied was incorrect so there was some confusion finding the property

The whole experience was good except it took us time to get in because we can’t get the code for keys and my son who booked us the apartment have to call them on the phone that’s when we were able to check in

The flat was very clean

This apartment represented fantastic value for money, for us. It is convenient for the station, taxis, cafés, restaurants, bars and clubs; all the things that Maidenhead has to offer. Despite being so central, the apartment was quiet to sleep in and provided a comfortable and well-equipped place to rest and socialise together. The owner was friendly and informative, and kept in good-yet-not-invasive contact prior to our stay and during our stay, checking that we had all we needed and were happy. The check-in and check-out instructions were clear and easy. As this is typically a contractor flat, there were no double beds which worked well for me and my friend.

I couldn't work out how to shower without spraying water all over the bathroom. That might be a me thing.

The location suited myself and two sisters as we were visiting family who lived in the area.

We had a problem getting the TV to work despite changing batteries in the remote control. This was reported to the owner, but wasn't' resolved. The rug in the living room is a potential trip hazard with a corner of it permanently turned up. The beds were not comfortable. Mattress springs child be felt. Out of five cups in the cupboard 3 we're badly chipped and two glasses out of 3 we're cracked. The battery operated clock in the living room was permanently stuck at three o'clock. Small things that could easily be rectified and would make for a more pleasant and comfortable stay.
