Lovely property with great sauna, nice very cold cold plunge, awesome room, little attached library, lovely outdoor area for some nibbles and privacy in a shared home which is nice. Plus Blair & Wendy were super accommodating and lovely people!
Don’t hate me Wendy but I didn’t have change to pay exact amount so she asked for a tip, then next day said she didn’t have change. I am a generous tipper but never to those that ask (even if it was in jest).

Es ist was ganz besonderes und man fühlt sich sofort wie ein Teil der Familie. Ich durfte beim Füttern der Chicken dabei sein 😊 und das ganze Haus anschauen!

There was nothing not to like staying at McSaveneys. Blair and Wendy were generous, hospitable hosts who went out of their way to make our stay memorable. The house is set in 10acres and 15 mins from city centre so a car is a benefit . We were able to use all the facilities , pool, sauna, gym and were treated to fresh eggs every morning. Our room with lounge/ en-suite overlooking the garden was fabulous and we had the use of the kitchen if we wanted to cater for ourselves.

It was unique, not quite what I was expecting but it was good.
Still a lot of tidy up to do but sounds like they had that in hand.
