Tawny Lodge was amazing. From the moment we walked in we felt at home. Everything smelt fresh and was spotless. The welcome gifts left for us, and the little card were such a kind gesture. The bed was really comfortable and everything was accommodated for. Just a short walk up the road we found a nice pub to sit and have a drink. We went out for a lovely Indian which was only a 6 minute drive away. We really didn’t want to leave. It was the perfect getaway. So peaceful and tranquil. Thanks so much Carole and Paul for a memorable stay 😊

Beautiful and very modern renovation (?) of a single storey farm building. Very high quality fixtures and furniture, given space constraints. Quiet, apart from weekend daytime sawing, hammering from next door shed?
Perfect for a loved up summer mini break or weekend. And blissfully cool given shade from trees. Tricky to manage any stay beyond that, as no freezer, washing machine, or dishwasher. If other outbuildings can be repurposed with some shared laundry, that could work well?
