Our stay at Guesthouse Micaj was fantastic and truly unique. This is a family‑run guesthouse, and the warmth of the hosts made all the difference. They were incredibly welcoming and even involved us in local traditions, we got to experience opening pistachios and peanuts used for baklava, which was such a lovely, authentic moment. Plus, we get to take the nuts with us for free for our journey. The property itself is beautiful: clean rooms, a refreshing pool, and panoramic mountain views that genuinely give off Switzerland vibes. It’s peaceful and perfect for travellers who want a quiet retreat. A practical note: the guesthouse is located quite far from Himarë and the beaches. The road leading there is very winding — some drivers may find it intimidating — but the views during the drive are absolutely stunning. If you’re comfortable with mountain roads, the stay is absolutely worth it. Overall, a wonderful experience with exceptional hosts and a setting that feels both serene and special. Highly recommended. Additional note: the gasoline station near to the property has much lower price than in the centre of himarë. Prepare cash if you won't pay in advance on booking.

Die Unterkunft ist super sauber, idyllisch gelegen und man hat alles was man braucht, sogar Frühstück konnten wir buchen.

Da wir bereits in der Nebensaison da waren, war es meist im Haus kälter als draußen. Aber man kann Abhilfe schaffen, denn im Haus ist ein Kamin.

Si vous cherchez un endroit pour vous ressourcer en Albanie, n’allez pas plus loin, tout était parfait : une grande maison bien équipée avec terrasse privative et piscine. L’hôte et sa famille sont adorables ! Nous y sommes restés deux nuits et avons eu le plaisir de recevoir des fruits frais tous les matins de leur part ! De plus, si vous n’avez pas envie de cuisiner, Artemis vous propose une diversité de pizzas et viande qu’il fera lui-même dans le bar attenant (ou vous serez probablement les seuls clients) : une expérience ultra VIP !

Si ce n’est une eau tiède dans la salle de bain… absolument rien, tout était parfait !

Klidné místo uprostřed krásného údolí. Měli jsme pro sebe celý prostorný dům, který ještě voněl novotou a byl na stejném pozemku s domem majitelů. Hojně jsme využili krásný bazén, jelikož v době návštěvy, koncem srpna, bylo 35 stupňů. Potěšila nás možnost objednat si na večer grilovačku a zažít tak hezký dovolenkový večer. Srdečná paní Hilda nám k snídani usmažila místní chléb, jelikož došlo k nedorozumění a mysleli jsme si, že budeme mít v ceně i snídani. Bohužel v blízkém okolí není možné nic koupit. Na cestu jsme dostali vyloupané ořechy a srdečné objetí. Moc se nám tu líbilo a rádi přijedeme zas.

Jen taková drobnost. V kuchyni chybělo pár základních věcí, jako nůžky, nože na mazání, prkénko, pánev. Jinak jsme byli moc spokojeni.
