Villa Xani

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Dès notre arrivée, notre hôte nous a accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse. Il s’est assuré que nous ne manquions de rien et nous a même proposé des parasols pour profiter de la plage. Tout au long de notre séjour, il a pris régulièrement de nos nouvelles pour savoir si tout se passait bien. Il a toujours été à notre écoute, disponible en cas de besoin, tout en restant très discret. Le logement est situé à environ 10 à 20 minutes à pied de la mer et du centre-ville, où se trouvent les restaurants. Son emplacement, légèrement en retrait, permet de profiter d’un environnement calme et reposant. Notre chambre disposait d’un balcon très agréable, et la piscine était un vrai plus pour se détendre. Nous avons également rencontré un petit problème avec les clés de notre voiture. Notre hôte a fait preuve d’une grande patience et de beaucoup de bienveillance, et il a tout mis en œuvre pour nous aider à trouver une solution. Nous lui en sommes très reconnaissants. Un grand merci pour votre accueil, votre disponibilité et votre gentillesse. Nous garderons un excellent souvenir de ce séjour et recommandons ce logement sans hésitation ! ❤️

We stayed here for about 2 and a half weeks. We were comfortable and enjoyed our host. We had a beautiful view from the balcony. The AC worked well! We even got to be the first to jump into the new pool. There is a bit of a hike from town but we got used to it. It made it nice not to be too close to all the noise of downtown. Our room was cleaned almost daily. Our host offered beach umbrellas, olive oil, and raki. He was always checking into make sure we were doing well.

The room was a little tight for a family of five but we made it work.

Everything was perfect. The owner was super nice and he even brought us a welcome shot of homemade raki (traditional Albanian spirit) for free. He answered every question that we had and recommended places to visit.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Xani. The hospitality was excellent, and the location offered a great balance of accessibility and quiet. What I liked: The Host: Costa is incredibly friendly and welcoming. He greeted us with homemade raki upon arrival and even gifted us a bottle of his homemade olive oil, which was absolutely delicious! Amenities: We were pleasantly surprised to be the first guests to use the newly finished pool! Also, providing three beach umbrellas was a huge help, as it allowed us to skip the daily cost of renting chairs at the beach. Location: While the villa is up a hill, it remains easily walkable to the main beach in Himare. It’s also very convenient for supplies, being just a 9-minute walk from Alpha Supermarket. Service: When we had a minor issue with ants on the floor on our second day, Costa and his cleaner took care of it very quickly and efficiently.

Honestly, there wasn't much to complain about! The only thing to be aware of is the short uphill walk from the beach, but we found it manageable and well worth the stay.
