Upon arriving in Monopoli, we found an impeccably clean and spacious apartment. Our host, Laura, was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. She gave us several valuable tips about local shops, restaurants, and interesting places to visit. The apartment was modern, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There is a large public parking area right in front of the building, and during our one-week stay we had no significant problems finding a parking space. The historic center of Monopoli is about a 10–15 minute walk away. The apartment is located right next to the train station, which is a great advantage for guests who are not traveling by car, as there are direct trains to Bari, Lecce, and other cities.

Since the apartment is next to the railway station, passing trains can be heard. However, we spent most of the day sightseeing and returned in the evening quite tired. With the windows closed, the train noise never woke us up. If you are a very light sleeper, it is something to keep in mind. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend this apartment.

Ligging, voldoende parkeergelegenheid, supercompleet. Een heel mooi terras waar je buiten kan zitten. En station voor de deur. Met de app (Trenitalia) snel en goedkoop reizen. 10 min lopen naar het centrum.

De geluidsoverlast van het station. Je hoort de hele dag de bellen van de overgang. De omroeper/ster en piepende remmen. Dus met raam open slapen gaat niet. De treinen waren wij op voorbereid maar de overige geluiden niet.
