Spacious Private Room in Mckinnon 3 min to Train Station, Cafes and close to Monash Uni

Friendly housemates that has stayed long term in the house (Unofficial House Guide) xD Made a few friends here, a special place to recharge in between phases. Nice backyard, quiet but strategic location... 6 min walk from Metro, bearable walk to either Ormond or Bentleigh which has a lot of stuff happening. I particularly liked walking around Bentleigh especially walking thru the few op-shop located on that road. I mostly also get my groceries from Coles, Bentleigh too..

As the saying goes, the worse thing u can get in a shared home isn't the facilities but people. There's one occupant in the 6 room house is a little on edge, quite a bit of sound were heard from her room, mostly mumbling, sometimes blasting rock musics or calling with someone on the phone... It didn't bother me much but the walls are not sound proof at all so tolerance & communication is always needed I guess... My Room was nice as it's situated between bathrooms, a bit less noisy other than some guests using the washroom in early morning, but it's a good alarm sometimes for me. On another note, I was glad that I'm checking out at the time that I'm checking out... The occupant that was on edge was having call on both phone and the interference shriek was all over the house ard 9-10pm... Apart from the interference noise, somehow in certain intervals there is a short 3 second burst of intense siren from a possible second phone that was stuck vertically filming a corridor outside of the 2nd washroom... I hope, the occupant in room 4 gets better, if not my friends next to her room is going to suffer greatly... And cherry on top: (1) I got slightly rudely scolded by the same occupant when I was moving out, first for storing my luggage in between her door and the sofa, totally not blocking any walkway or door movement but she argued that it is blocking her room's door. (2) I was trying to clean up my last few stuff into the recycling box which mistakenly dropped an aluminium can on the floor just so lucky that it's in front of her door, I got scolded again and told strongly to just leave as the door is right out there, basically "fuck off" with more words.. which I am definitely planning to do but she just don't have common reasoning at that point in time. There's no heater in my room, but it has 1 quilt, 1 throw & 1 faux mink blanket from ever rest...

Comfy home environment in a central location that is very close to a train station, food shops and other facilities. Huge room with comfy bed and friendly and helpful co-tenants, who respect your privacy. Privacy and access to the shared bathroom was never an issue. Host was super responsive and provided easy to follow and clear instructions on access, departure etc.The property is well suited for either long or short stays.
