A luxury home in Oakleigh

Host was responsive and helpful. Clean and tidy room. Great coffee maker. Well equipped kitchen. Laundry facilities provided. Offstreet parking. Toiletry supplies in the bathroom were generous. Extra blankets and towels were useful.

Kitchen has an unpleasant smell of cooking oil. Room was not advertised as having a shared bathroom. I expected a private bathroom to myself as that was the word used in the listing. Bed was too firm. Only had one pillow when I use two. Room cooling did not work the first night when it was hot. Communal hairdryer was missing and not available to use during most of my stay as it appeared another guest had taken it out of the bathroom. It is important to me to have the advertised room facilities available as I would have brought my own hairdryer otherwise.

Property didn't meet the description of what I booked. The room I booked was advertised as being luxury room with private bathroom. It was a very bare small double bed in a room with 1 pillow and shared bathroom for 3 bedrooms. It was very noisy in the house until after 11pm both nights and from before 6am in the morning.
