The property is lovely. Fairly basic, but really nice, especially the gardens / outdoor areas and pool.

We hadnt realised it has no aircon, which was a bit of an effort in the heat. The motorway also runs right beside it, so it's noisy, but we didnt mind that too much, but some people might. Also disappointed it had no basics. It's always helpful when the cupboards are left with some herbs, oil, s&p, etc. This is stuff every person buys so what happens - do they throw it all in the bin? Also pool / beach toys. We left lots of good food basics, including buckets and spades etc, hopefully they get passed on this time.

The pool is well built and kept clean. Location is just a short drive from the beach, downtown and supermarket.

Beware: they were quoting a €120 fee for a linen change and apartment refresh during a 10-day rental, it was very disappointing given the price per night. Some management agencies really do not understand what is hospitality or good business sense. Like other reviewers have mentioned: it was really not clear there are 2 holiday apartments sharing the entrance, parking and outside facilities. We discovered it only weeks after booking. The smaller ground floor apartment does not have AC while the bigger one upstairs does, we noticed it tripped the fuses on our last night. Luckily for us there were 7 days without overlap with other guests, because the floors are thin, it is very awkward to share the pool or BBQ located on the same patio and other guests could be smoking inside and out. For the price charged, not up to par. Highway noise is indeed constant, but not too annoying. Those barking dogs live on the other side of the valley, and I'd happily accept that as a typical feature of a small village.
