This spacious (980 sq ft), newly redecorated, private studio apartment features a wall of glass, opening above the pristine Smith River. All you see is the river & the forest. Open a sliding glass door, and step into the outdoor panorama, onto a 200 sq ft deck for outdoor dining & relaxing. Back inside, is a large, plush living room/bedroom, a well-appointed kitchen, a dining area which seats six, a laundry facility, and a computer desk with professional WiFi.
Plus, it is only a 10 minute drive to Redwood National Park and Stout Grove or Walker Road which are easily accessed & enjoyed by nature lovers of all ages and abilities. And Mill Creek Trail, where hikers can see 3 of the world's 10 tallest trees, located in Grove of the Titans.
Or you may just want to rest at home on your deck with sunshine, a beverage, food, or a good book. When you finally go to bed, you may have the best night's sleep ever -- unless it's too quiet for you!

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at the studio apartment on the Smith River! We were in the area to explore the national park and wanted to find a serene and scenic place to stay outside of Crescent City - this apartment completely hit all the check points for us. The drive from the city to the apartment is not too long and was absolutely breathtaking between the redwoods, the river, and the national forest. The apartment itself was stunning and clean. Waking up to see the fog over the Smith River each morning was such a special treat - truly so beautiful!!! The host had excellent communication with us. She always checked in to make sure we were comfortable during our stay and even gave us some great recommendations for the area. Thank you, Eileen for sharing this beautiful space with others!

This is a quiet,private space right on the river! It was clean and roomy. Eileen , the host, was wonderful & welcoming. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, watching and listening to the river, and exploring the nearby beaches and attractions.

The studio apartment is spacious and open to the wonderful view of the Smith River. The light changes througout the day ever changing. What a beautiful space the owner has created.

So many windows and glass doors in this house make you feel like you’re in the great outdoors, and the view of the river is gorgeous! The host was super nice and accommodating. I can’t wait to stay again someday.
