About this house rental
Private Vacation Home with 50 feet of secluded deck space on the Middle Fork of the Smith River. Enjoy or new deck furniture and outdoor gas fire pit!

Concrete Boat Ramp for Kayaks and river access with over 150 feet of private riverfront on the Middle Fork (this is the ONLY improved river access / ramp on the entire upper river!)

No matter what the season, Gasquet is always beautiful! Inquire soon as the Months of May-September always fill up fast! Mid-January - Mid March is traditionally blocked off for our owners during fishing season, if you are coming up to fish, make an inquiry with us and we often accept last minute rentals January - March even if the calendar shows booked.
WHY STAY IN A SMALL HOTEL ROOM when you can have all the comforts of home in a beautiful surrounding.
This is a private vacation house on the Smith River and completely furnished with all modern conveniences. Very private on one acre of land. All landscaped by nature with many pine, cedar, fir and madrone trees.
Our vacation home is located within the Smith River National Recreation Area along the banks of this pristine river. Only eight miles to the west is Redwood National and State Parks where some of the tallest redwood trees in the world reside.
Twenty miles west is the Pacific Ocean and the southern entrance to the Oregon coast. Fifty miles east are the Oregon Caves National Monument. We have 150 feet of riverfront property where you can, swim, snorkel, kayak, canoe, raft, fish, or just relax and enjoy the scenery.
If you are into winter steelhead fishing this is the place to be, December thru March. There are several fishing spots on the property and in the area we can guide you too. When the river level is at the bottom of the ramp fishing is perfect right there!
If you are in the area come by and check us out. We are right on the waters edge at 600 Gasquet Flat Rd, Gasquet, Ca. Look for the 'BMH LODGE' sign on the pine tree in front yard.

Another perfect stay at BMH. This property and its hosts are the pinnacle of what a vacation rental can be - with a location that can’t be beat. The only issue is always the same - how to decide whether to just stay and enjoy the deck, the river and the paradise of Gasquet or to get out to the myriad adventures in the area. We enjoyed our stay, great accommodation, pet friendly, convenient location, close to places we wanted to visit, Redwood National and State Parks, Crescent and Klamath, CA and Brookings, OR. Beautiful view from the deck, looking at the Smith River. Amazing experience indeed. Highly recommended!

The location was perfect, right in Gasquet on the Smith River. The windows and porch over looking the River was beautiful. The home looked just as pictured. Plenty of beds for everyone.

Not for seniors with disabilities. Were looking forwarrd to. It was sweltering in s i being on the lake not above it with too steep a desent for us to walk it. Steps upto the house were not for us either. It was way hot 102 and we had been asked not to use air conditioner much. It was sweltering inside so we did use the air unit although it wasnt sufficient for the whole house. Kitchen was well stocked. Hair dryer would have been handy. All in all if we were physically more abled it would be a nice retreat but not when its hot. We came to enjoy some fishing from the yard but never put a hook in the water. TV controller hard to understand. It just wasnt what we expected.
