Situated on six acres of stunning woodlands the Rustic Sawtooth Retreat provides two charming cabins, private trails, and a prime location. This elevated camping experience offers seclusion while maintaining convenient access to Grand Marais, the Superior Hiking Trail, and all the attractions of the north shore.
Please note there is no running water or electricity. Outhouse is new.
Two camper cabins, always rented together:
Cabin 1 - Sleeping Cabin (12x12): Includes a double (full) bed, wood-burning stove, and a small sleeping loft. The loft sleeps one adult or two children — bring your own sleeping pads or camping mats, as there is no bed or mattress provided in the loft.
Cabin 2 - Gathering + Cooking Cabin (12x20): Features a full/double futon that converts into a bed, wood-burning stove, dining table, and a kitchenette with a propane stove and basin sink for gray water.

This was such a nice weekend getaway. The cabins were beautiful, comfortable for a group of 4 adults, and well stocked. Julie was so helpful and responsive.

The cabins were nice and private. It was clean and the experience was great. They had wood that was easily accessible and plenty of heat sources as well as water they left for us.

If you're looking for a glamping type experience, this is a great place to stay! We found the cabin to be very clean and comfortable. The location is great, it's only a few minutes into Grand Marais, and it's very convenient for the boundary waters. The host is friendly and very helpful. Would highly recommend.
