About this house rental
Perched on the edge of a gully and beautiful walking track, our beautiful new home contains everything you need for a relaxing, enjoyable and hassle-free holiday. The house sits at the foothill of the aptly named, Remarkable Mountain and has a relaxing and completely private outlook within the settlement of Jacks Point.
The space
Jack's Point is a 1200 hectare (3000 acre) settlement in one of the most spectacular landscapes in the world - on the shores of Lake Wakatipu, just 15 minutes from Queenstown, New Zealand. Home to a pioneering spirit, a championship golf course and over 35 kms of hiking and mountain biking trails.
The house is just 7 minutes’ drive from the Queenstown Airport, Frankton and local shops and just 15 minutes from Queenstown. Relax at the end of each day away from the hustle and bustle of Queenstown, with all home comforts, including quality linen, Sky television, full kitchen facilities and even a beautiful freestanding bath if you feel that way inclined!
In summer, stunning beaches are within 5 minutes’ drive and the house boasts a generous BBQ and outside entertaining area for you to enjoy the late sunshine hours and am outdoor fire to fight the chill and roast the marshmallows when the sun goes down.
In winter, the gateway to the Remarkables ski field lies a mere 5 minutes from the house and a fire, two heat pumps and under-floor heating will warm your toes at the end of the day.
The house is tastefully decorated, bathed in sunshine all day long and has a lovely homely feel. Kitchen, dining and lounge is all open plan. It has four bedrooms which all contain a comfortable queen or double sized bed. The main bathroom boasts a free-standing egg-shaped bath and the master bedroom includes a shower ensuite.
Use of the hot tub is available upon request, for an additional charge.
Walking tracks link the house to Hanleys Farm and you have the choice of the Jacks Point Clubhouse, or the Farmhouse cafe if you feel that way inclined!

This is the listing for 3 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms. The master, master ensuite and garage will be locked. We do occasionally let the house with all 4 bedrooms and the master ensuite also. Please contact for details.
