About this cabin rental
Our cabin is nestled in the foot hills of the SW Adirondack Mountains in Salisbury, NY. It sits on quiet, wild Spruce Lake, a pristine non-motorized lake 3 feet from the back porch. It's a convenient 4 hour drive from midtown NYC, a 4 hour drive from Buffalo, a 3 1/2 hour drive from Boston, a 1 1/2 hour drive from Syracuse and a 1 hour drive from Albany.
The cabin sits on a private lot with the lake as the back yard and forest as its other border. Large mouth, small mouth bass, lake trout, pickerel, cat fish and perch fishing are in the lake outside the door. Trout stocked streams are but a short drive from the camp for the fly fishing enthusiast. Enjoy the sounds of loons, geese and bullfrogs right outside your door. The cabin is a 1 hour drive to Saratoga Race Track, SPAC, Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame.
The first floor has a master bedroom with 1/2 bathroom and queen size bed. The 2nd floor bedroom has a queen size bed. The 3rd bedroom which is also the 4 season sun room has a twin bed with a pull out trundle. Also located on the first floor is a full bathroom with tub/shower and a mud room with a washer and dryer. The great room with large fireplace and 18' ceilings, TV (DVD only) leads to the sun porch and lake. The fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and more! Dining with seating for 6. Open deck at lakeside for reading and relaxing and two docks for fishing, boating and swimming. A fire pit for S'mores and camp fire stories. 2 kayaks, a paddle board, canoe and a row boat included with rental.
Lovely Little Falls only 10 minutes away offers summer concerts, festivals, antiques, museums and restaurants.
Towels and sheets are included in rental fee. Parking for 2 cars on sight. 2 kayaks, a paddle board, canoe and rowboat. Charcoal grill, fire pit and indoor fireplace. Fully equipped kitchen, sheets and towels included.
There is no wifi availability at the lake which is part of what being at the lake is all about! Hot spots work great when needed.
