About this house rental
Rent these 5 bed and 3 bath homes weekly or monthly for your vacation. Houses sits on top of a hill and has breath taking views on more than 100 acres of land, amazing sunrises from the master suite and sunsets from the great room. Home has octagon shape great room with open timber frame ceilings and a large open fireplace. Do your grilling indoors with the indoor grill. Large 7 person jacuzzi tub outside the master bedroom. Master bedroom has king size bed with open vaulted ceilings. Interior painting was done by an artist. Radiant heated floors. Parts of the home has central air, remember this is central New York and air conditioning is not really needed. These homes is truly a one of a kind vacation home due to its 50 mile plus mountain views in almost the 360 degree. There are great sledding hills for the kids. Leather sectional couch and swivel chairs with power recliners and USB plugs on side of couch in great room. Love seat, futon couch and chair in studio.
Note: 2nd HOME RED HOUSE NOW INCLUDED. House has a game room with beautiful open ceilings. Includes full kitchen, living room, laundry and bathroom. Has ping pong and 7 foot pool table. Red House has radiant floor heat and air condition on both floors. Contact owner for more information. The red house sits right next to the main house.
Visit Glimmerglass state park for hiking trails, snow tubing etc. Beach with a big lake make this an awesome place only 15 minutes from the house.

This was a wonderful place to stay, gorgeous location on a hilltop overlooking pastures with wild turkey and deer roaming by. Loved our stay. Only "complaint" was master bathroom never could get it to truly run anything approaching hot water, all my showers were below and approaching luke warm, I lived, but I would recommend a hot water pump if the hot water heaters are too far away. This would have bothered me far more if I had stayed in the winter than in the heat.One suggestion I would make to the owner. You have a wonderful movie projector room and DVD or blu-ray player. Stock a small collection of relatively recent films as an option to take advantage of it, or even reach out to renters and recommend they bring theirs. Would have loved to do a movie night but unless something was starting on the limited DirectTV channels it didn't work out. Alternatively, having almost any smart device there that a family could use to login in to their own netflix account would be a great, an apple TV or Roku etc. Other VRBOs I have stayed in have these options but none has had a better Movie room. Not a complaint, but could make the place even nicer.The place is HUGE by the way, I mean the pictures don't do it justice but it is definitely a place where a much larger group than ours would be plenty comfortable. Wonderful place to stay, would highly recommend... but bring your favorite DVDs.

The property was even nicer than the pics. The beds were very comfortable. The central hub was delightful to cook in, eat in, and to socialize and relax in. The views out each and every window are truly breathtaking.

Hands down the best house/property we have stayed at for our trip. Overall great space where 6 people could spread out, having 2 separate living quarters was huge. Space was great, amenities were great and location was perfect. What a view!! Only concern would be the lack of AC in the main living room/kitchen and main bedroom. One part of the house was cool, the other was warm. All the windows in the living room were great, blinds would have helped keep the heat out. The main bedroom was in high 70’s, low 80’s temp wise, even a portable AC unit would have helped. Honestly though we had a great time, loved the place, already decided we are coming back next year! Thanks for everything!
