Spectacular Lake Front Property ~ Your Own 22 Acre Private Peninsula Getaway!

The pictures of the property are great but really don't do it justice. The interior is spacious and the lawn is absolutely awesome with plenty of space for multiple lawn games. Our grandchildren loved the swimming area. Dean is easily accessible. We had an awesome family reunion week.

The house itself was very nice, clean and comfortable. Large enough for ten of us to enjoy our time together. There were plenty of bath and beach towels, pots and pans and kitchen utensils provided. The is a large front yard which provided space for Bocce and other yard games. There are steps down to the water, but the last one is too large a stretch. Another cement step needs to be added for safety reasons instead of stepping down about two to three feet onto large stones. The beach itself is small and we were not able to lay there to sunbathe, due to rocks. Instead, we brought beach chairs down upon which to sit. We were not able to have a camp fire as the area provided for that is in the woods, just off the front yard. It seems like a very dangerous area in which to light a fire. The family enjoyed walking the beach down to the nearby point of the peninsula. When the description said 22 acres, we thought we would be able to walk and hike this area, but it is all heavily wooded. Again, for safety reasons, there needs to be handrails on both the front and back porches especially for older adults. Even though the water was potable, it tasted and smelled of sulphur. Therefore, we bought many, many, gallons of water to drink at the nearby store. The side screened-in porch was nice for gathering for evening games of cards and board games. All in all, we had a lovely time together as a family as we adjusted to the variables inherent in a home away from home. Thanks very much.

The communication prior to check-in was excellent with a very quick response time from the host. The property was very clean upon arrival. It was located on the water with plenty of privacy and room for the dogs to play. The price was reasonable for the view and acreage that the property offered. We would definitely recommend this property and will stay here again when we return to the area.

The kitchen faucet handle kept falling off. Dog hair weren't cleaned up. The master bath shower drain was extremely slow. We loved the large yard and the campfire nook was great! We enjoyed kayaking the reservoir. The pair of loons made it extra special.
