Melitini's Villa

This villa was very spacious, super clean and beautiful with a lush garden surrounding. It was perfect for accessing many parts of the island and I liked that you could drive 5 mins and park at the bridge then walk to Argostoli (parking is difficult in Argostoli). There was AC in each room and the place has been thoughtfully decorated. The beds were very clean and comfortable which gave us a great night's rest. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed. The host was very helpful and quick to respond.

Only two minor things: 1. The showers are both small (but the shower pressure was great) which was a shame because a shower enclosure would make for a more comfortable/relaxing shower after a long day. :) 2. The windows are thin and therefore the place gets hot quickly. It's not a problem as there are plenty of ACs but I did feel quite bad running all the time we were home. Don't let these two things put you off booking though, this is a great base to explore the island ;)

What’s not to love? The villa is tucked away in a peaceful village near Argostoli, offering the perfect blend of tranquility and convenience. It’s beautifully appointed and exceptionally well-equipped, with every detail thoughtfully considered. Our host went above and beyond, welcoming us with complimentary drinks, snacks, and even pasta and sauce, just in case we arrived hungry. The villa is spacious throughout, with large, comfortable bedrooms that made it easy to relax. In short, it’s absolutely beautiful and we couldn’t have asked for more.
