Station House

We absolutely loved staying at the Station House. This was our fourth visit to St Bees and our favourite by far. When booking I didn’t realise it was the eclipse so we got to experience it on our favourite beach. We loved the property and the fact it was next to the train station made it even better, my two young sons loved it and it was so easy to get to the beach. My youngest also loved how close it was to the priory and we went twice during our stay. The house itself was really comfortable, we all slept really well for the first time on a trip away. There was loads of space, WiFi and a washing machine, which was incredibly handy when the kids got wet at the beach at least twice a day. We will definitely book again!

Outside lighting

Stayed for a week with my sister and our 2 dogs. We loved it here.Well laid out, very comfy beds, incredibly warm. Loved having the train next door which was surprisingly quiet with just a slight rumble in the floors. Beautiful area with a great beach and café 10 mins walk away. Close enough to towns to shop but far enough away to be peaceful.

TV wasn't a smart tv so we had to buy an Amazon fire stick to watch decent films. Also no microwave. Not essential but would of been handy. A mop for the floor would of been handy too. Not the cleanest place we have stayed in but nothing drastic, spilt tea down the kitchen door, a bit dusty in places but we were not put off. We loved it here.
