Eleni's House

Hydra is a beautiful island, but Eleni is the person who made our stay truly special. Her daughter welcomed us with a big smile, and from the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The house was absolutely spotless, and every little detail had been thought of. It genuinely felt like staying in my own home — comfortable, welcoming, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. There are so many thoughtful details that I could go on forever. The location is also wonderful, and having a washing machine was a huge plus. The house was so well equipped and the welcome was so thoughtful that, if we had had more detergent, we would honestly have washed and left clean even the sheets and towels we had used. That’s how much the place felt like home and how well looked after we felt. 😄 But what really stood out was Eleni herself. She went far beyond simply renting out a house. She actually took care of us throughout our whole trip. Our ferry was cancelled because of the storm, and Eleni went out of her way to help us find a way to reach Hydra — I would even say she practically made our arrival possible. She was always quick to respond, helpful, and incredibly caring. I honestly don’t know how I could have been more satisfied with the communication and support. Thank you so much, Eleni, for everything. You made a difficult travel situation so much easier and our stay in Hydra truly unforgettable❤️

Great location and the little extras made a huge difference, water bottles already in the fridge plus a pack under the sink, wine and fresh fruits plus a couple of pods for the washer!

Nothing
