Location is excellent, handy for the port, restaurants and bars plus supermarket

Steps could be problem to some people

We were met by the host Tzina, who showed us around and made sure we had everything we needed. The room is cool and spacious with stone walls and old wooden ceiling, very attractive. There is an area for good preparation and hob and fridge. The bed is comfortable and bathroom of reasonable size. Location is good, set back from harbour but not far from main restaurant area.

There was some noise from the lanes outside and required closing windows and using AC for sleeping. A flickering light in the bathroom needs replacement.

Overall, we had a great time in Polina's apartment. Clean, nicely decorated with all the amenities you need. Ideally situated in the center of Hydra. This is a plus as motorized vehicles are not allowed on the island and therefore you do not have to carry your heavy luggage for a long distance. The host was very flexible, we were given the option of an early check-in also.

The apartment has a great patio with a nice view of the island. If it was a little bit better taken care of, with some plants and comfy furniture, it would have been the perfect spot to rest after a long day.
