FLH Cascais Beachside Duplex Balcony

The Location could not be beat. You are 3 min from the train station and 1 min to the beach and main downtown areas. The unit is large and roomy. The finishes in the unit are high quality Bosch appliances all around. Beautiful wood floors throughout. The 2 outside decks really came in handy as you could get out of the sun if it was too hot to sit in the sun. If one deck was in the sun the other was not. They provided chairs and cushions for use on the deck.

While the temp was not too hot during our stay. I had picked the accommodation as it had A/C and despite me calling the first day they were unable to get it working during the 6 nights we stayed. If stairs are a problem there are a dozen to get to the main floor and a dozen to get up to the bedroom and deck area. It was not an issue for us but good to know for others. The large couch in the main area is very soft and could use a replacement.

Das Haus war genau so wie in der Beschreibung, großzügig geschnitten, hell, modern, einfach zum Wohlfühlen. Die Lage am Ende der Fußgängerzone ist ideal, zum Strand und der endlos Promenade sind es ca. 50 Meter. Der Supermarkt sowie die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel, Zug nach Lissabon, sind zu Fuß schnell erreichbar, ebenso Restaurants. Alles einfach super. Besonders hervorzuheben war die Betreung vor Ort. Als es Probleme mit dem Haustürschlüssel gab, wurden diese umgehend an einem Sonntag behoben. Danke Carla!

Das Haus hätte etwas besser geputzt sein können, besonders die Balkone. Dies war aber vielleicht den Bauarbeiten im Nachbarhaus geschuldet. Die Maurerarbeiten haben tagsüber nicht gestört, von 8.00 bis 17.00 Uhr. Außerdem wurde uns ein Wohnungstausch angeboten. Da aber in Cascais viel renoviert wird und die Wohnung zu schön war, haben wir davon keinen Gebrauch gemacht.

Kloakken fra badeværelset lugtede rigtig fælt. Vi var blevet advaret om bygge larm, men var ikke forberedte på at vi til tider ikke kunne være i lejligheden pga larm da det var nabo bygningen de var ved at rive ned. Det gav til tider så meget støv at vi ikke kunne åbne altandøren eller badeværelses vinduet.
