Lovely 1BR flat in the city center near lake - Mainau 2

The location was excellent and close to all the main attractions, The public transportation system and the cleanliness of the city is also excellent.

There was an issue with WiFi connection in the first day but after contacting Dimi it was resolved within the following days. Also during our stay,construction work was taking place in a neighboring buillding,so there was some noise during the day,however,it did not affect our stay too much,. Overall,the main area that needs more attention is the cleanliness of the bathroom,which could be improved.Also, there was no shampoo or shower gel provided, although I was aware of this in advance. These are the reasons why I am not giving a score of 10.

The location of the apartment was perfect - in a quiet neighborhood, with grocery, bakery and other shops nearby. It was a short walk to the lake and a lovely park. The host was very responsive to questions. The apartment was a comfortable size for three adults.

The bathroom was dated and while clean, the grout and caulk need care. The sofa bed wasn't super comfortable, it could be improved with the addition of a pad or foam topper. The kitchen was equipped but didn't have much in the way of basic cooking staples: no olive oil, coffee, tea, sugar, etc.

De locatie was voortreffelijk voor de prijs van de flat. Ook de huisbaas heeft ons altijd zeer snel geholpen indien we een vraag hadden!

De instructies over het weg smijten van afval waren een beetje onduidelijk omdat er werken waren in de straat en de containers ergens anders stonden. Maar hierbij heeft de huisbaas proberen kijken voor een oplossing.

Very good location, nice and clean accommodation.

- Unfortunately, an issue we were concerned about did occur even though we had asked about it beforehand and we were reassured before booking that it would be very comfortable. The fact is the sofa bed was quite uncomfortable and made for a few difficult nights, as the mattress is very uneven. - In the bathroom, there was a leak coming from the upstairs neighbour, and a piece of plaster had already fallen off — the leak was not fresh. - Additionally, the shower head drips because the tap doesn’t close completely, which left water standing on the floor when we arrived. This problem we reported was also not fixed during our stay, even though we reported it immediately. - The top shelf in the bedroom wardrobe on the right side unexpectedly fell with a loud crash. It was quite scary and could be dangerous if it landed on someone’s hand, so I recommend checking and securing the wardrobe. Despite these issues, the host was kind and responsive, but I did not feel a real understanding or acknowledgement of the problems. Considering all this, I was surprised by the host is repeated requests for 10/10 rating and comment about me not having had time to provide feedback earlier as I wanted to give proper attention to my detailed review. I felt a small refund would have been a nice way to recognise the unresolved issues we raised.
