One of the best stays ever, me and my fiancée thoroughly enjoyed it. Warm and inviting reception by the host, we appreciate the welcome gift & the clear instruction manual! The home is well equipped with amenities. We most enjoyed the built in projector room with nintendo switch & games provided. Would come back again!

Very spacious and modern mixed with Japanese with all the amenities you need. The communication with the host was great, quick response. We managed to get our forgotten laptop back. Arigato gozaimasu.

We only stayed one night in the Kaede Lakehouse Toya - but wish we had time to stay longer. We hope to return some day. The host kindly left us a welcome present of keyrings and Hokkaido chocolate biscuits - a lovely welcome. The house itself has the warmth of atmosphere of a family home - everything has been thought of. Beautiful dishes for serving meals, a table at " western height" with bench and chairs, as well as a Japanese table with seats on the floor. 3 spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds. One bedroom has a games room with really cool projector off it where we played Mario Kart with Nintendo Switch.  The house was spotlessly clean. There are 2 lavatories, and a separate traditional bathroom with separate shower.  The lighting in the house and garden is warm and welcoming - we arrived after dark and appreciated that the lights had been left on making it very easy to find the house. There is off-road car parking in front of the garden fence. It was a short distance to drive through the tunnel to the other side of the mountain to see the fireworks from 845pm to 905pm on Lake Toya.
