Stylish Southend Stay

Lots of space for me and my daughter to enjoy after a busy day of exploring. Fully functional with everything we needed.

The apartment itself was good, a bit decorated, and located in a convenient area. However, you need to bring your own shower gel and handwash as nothing is found in the bathroom. Check-in instructions were clear, and overall, the space had potential for a pleasant stay

Unfortunately, the cleanliness upon arrival was disappointing. We found a large number of hairs on both beds and pillowcases, which was extremely off-putting. Although we immediately contacted the host and shared photo evidence, the issue couldn’t be resolved as the cleaner was unavailable. We had to change the linens ourselves and could not find enough clean bedding for a comfortable night’s sleep. There was no handwash provided in the bathroom or kitchen. The £70 cleaning fee felt unjustified given the circumstances, and we were also surprised by a £149 refundable deposit that wasn’t clearly mentioned during booking. Overall, the experience was stressful and not what we expected from a professional listing.
