MONTHLIV Euljiro Hotel Stay

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is great, as it is situated right next to the subway station, making it very convenient to get around. The hotel was spotlessly clean inside, equipped with a small kitchenette and even a washing machine, which is a huge plus for longer stays. The room itself was very comfortable, with both heating to keep it warm and air conditioning. Check-in process is easy. Initially, I was worried because I hadn't received any check-in instructions from Agoda or via email. However, my concerns were quickly dispelled! There is a self-check-in station on the 2nd floor. You simply enter your reservation details, and the machine immediately issues your room key card. Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a clean, convenient, and affordable stay!

Our 6 day stay was very satisfactory. Location is great. The room was clean and had all the necessary amenities that we needed. For those using strollers, use exit 9 or 10 for an elevator then cross the street to get to the hotel. The convenience store can also be found at the building near these exits. It's a self check in hotel so finding staff to assist you would be a challenge but you may communicate your concerns thru the chat link that they will provide. I emailed them prior our stay to ask about check in and this is where they sent me the chat link. It may take a few minutes to hours before they can reply. The provision of 2 bathrooms is really helpful for our group of 6. There was a problem though with the lock of the 2nd bathroom but we just managed by putting a chair infront of the bathroom door as sign that it was occupied. There is also provision for luggage storage. It's unmanned but there is a chainlock provided. When we left something in the room, I asked about it though the chat link and I was told the cleaners left it in the cleaners room at the 3rd floor. We were provided with the password to get it there ourselves. Overall I would recommend this stay to anyone looking for an affordable, convenient, central accommodation in Seoul.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel and would recommend it especially for families. What we liked: The location is excellent — just a short walk to the subway station on Line 2, which made getting around the city extremely convenient. The room layout worked very well for our family of six. Having two toilets made a huge difference in the mornings and evenings, helping us manage time efficiently. Both toilets are equipped with bidet facilities, which was especially convenient and appreciated for our Muslim family. The room was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate six pieces of luggage without feeling cramped. We appreciated the sufficiently large bath towels provided — a small detail, but important for comfort. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient, and the luggage storage service was seamless and hassle-free. Areas for improvement: The hot water supply was somewhat limited. With six people, we had to carefully plan shower times to ensure everyone had warm water. Additionally, there is no kitchen facility, which may be something to consider for families who prefer to prepare simple meals. Overall, it was a convenient and comfortable stay, particularly for larger families prioritising location and practicality.

The location was very convenient as the subway is right in front of the hotel and bus stops are nearby. Major stations/attractions are accessible via the subway line. The 2 bathrooms for the room are also very practical as we are a family of 5. A washing machine (with pods provided), a hair dryer, a ref, and plates, cutleries, and glasses were also included in the room. The TV has Netflix but shows are in Korean, even the subtitles. A great addition would have been an iron and ironing stand; also a dishwashing sponge & soap which were not provided. The only notable downside is that no staff are around to easily address any concerns. We only caught them when they were cleaning the checked out room in our floor. The staff were pleasant, however, in the 2 times we encountered them. A tablet was provided in the room to use as communication for concerns/orders like having the room cleaned and ask for water that was supposed to be daily supplied. But we had difficulty understanding how to do it; maybe we’re not just as tech savvy to handle it. Nevertheless, it was no biggie. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would come back again if we ever decide to stay in that area of Seoul.
