Very unique. Quiet neighborhood. Felt authentic
Property stay itself was awesome. Love the idea of supporting an artist residency. Beautiful old townhouse with modern amenities in quiet neighborhood. However the management company is really quite poor. This should not be a reflection on the owners. AC unit not working. Arrived on a 90° Kyoto day and after full day of travel continued to sweat particularly upstairs, the location of bedroom. Spent over an hour trying to fix the AC following Management company suggestions getting some sticky resin all over my hands. Then the hot water went out three days later. If the management company knows that an arrival is expected on a really hot day, why not turn the AC unit at the same time you’re cleaning the unit as there were people there the night before?
