Das Casa do Vale ist ein mit Sorgfalt eingerichtetes Haus, in dem wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Die Betten haben wir als sehr bequem und gemütlich empfunden. Das Wohnzimmer ist sehr hell und freundlich und die großen Fenster ermöglichen tolle Blicke in die Natur, herrlicher Blick auf den Pico. Im näheren Umfeld gibt es eine Möglichkeit zu einer netten Wanderung. Die Küche ist ausreichend ausgestattet, um täglich Mahlzeiten zubereiten zu können. Das Sofa ist auch gemütlich, ein ideales Haus, um sich richtig entspannen zu können. Bei Sonnenschein heizt sich das Wohnzimmer auch im Winter tagsüber schön auf. Wir durften auch unseren kleinen Hund mit bringen :)
Im Winter ist es etwas unbequem mit der Heizsituation, wir mussten Holz kaufen (Kosten etwa 5-6 Euro pro Tag) und konnten damit zumindest die Wohnküche schön warm halten. Fürs Badezimmer steht ein kleiner Heizlüfter zur Verfügung.

The view was awesome. The house felt like home. Check in would have been easy had I read my messages but we contacted Ellen, who was very helpful. The property is up a very steep windy road but that is worth the drive when you see the view. We were in The Azores for two weeks in various properties but this was our favourite as we felt it was in the style we would have at home. The view of Pico couldn’t be matched. We only stayed three nights but would have like to stay longer.
The bedroom was very hot and we weren’t sure about sleeping with the window wide open seeing as it was on ground level. I did sleep on the sofa as it was cooler in the living room. It wouldn’t stop me staying again.
