Welcome to Steer on Dock! Stunning fully renovated private residence on the basement level of our downtown historic mansion. Expansive brick walls, large windows, and exposed beams await. Private entrance, full kitchen, dining area, living room, and generous outside porch area. This luxe pet-friendly accommodation is located 4 blocks from the award-winning Riverwalk in historic downtown. 1 King BR, 1 Queen BR, 1 BA with parking. Registration STL2021-0215
The space
Steer on Dock features two super-comfortable MLILY beds wrapped in luxurious 100% Egyptian cotton and/or Supima bed linens. The herringbone–accented tile shower is stocked with bath essentials. An open floor plan kitchen/living room with a unique dining booth reclaimed from a local pizzeria. Restore yourself in the morning with a Nespresso and peacefully end your day with the invigorating aroma and flavor of fair-trade caffeine-free Harney & Sons organic tea. 65" 4K Roku smart TV in living room and 55" 4K Roku smart TV in bedroom. Beach chairs and supplies (sunscreen, beach towels, beach bag, cooler) are at the ready for a quick trip to one of the many local beaches for a tranquil day of sun and relaxation. Curl up with Legends of Old Wilmington & Cape Fear coffee table book in the hanging Treepod Cabana or dine alfresco in the generous covered patio. And don't forget the hundreds of amazing bars and restaurants just blocks outside the front door!

Thank you for the amazing stay! This location is gorgeous and in an amazing location while being immaculately clean and well-stocked while being easy to access. We appreciated how ultra dog-friendly it was since we were traveling with our small dog, Little Debbie. I highly recommend checking out out Paula’s recommendations because every recommendation was great! The neighborhood is gorgeous and was wonderful for our dog. Every need is met, the temperature of the apartment was perfect-even in the heatwave. We are also people who prefer to have a fan for sleeping year-round and every scenario of, “I wonder if I they have it?” Was met! I like a nespresso machine but my husband prefers drip, it was a treat to have both, because the coffee bar was incredibly stocked! While the apartment is great, the location is perfect. We checked out historic downtown, and while we loved the ability to have coffee at the house we enjoyed morning walks to get coffee with our girl, Little Debbie :)Thank you for the wonderful visit, we hope to return!

What an amazing place to stay! I’ll keep the review short but could write paragraphs about how cool this place is and what it has to offer. Great location, excellent and friendly communication, very clean and comfortable, very cool interior design, wonderful amenities, etc…I’d encourage anyone coming to Wilmington to stay here and plan to do so next time we’re in town.

Our stay was absolutely excellent. It exceeded all of our expectations! The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. Every detail made us feel comfortable and welcome.The host was amazing—friendly, responsive, and incredibly accommodating throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for making our trip so memorable!
